Entry time slots control how many people start a route during a window. They are not just a "suggestion": many tickets are tied to a specific entry time and route.
How to choose a slot
- Start from your logistics: train times, bus ride, hotel location.
- Prefer a slot that gives you buffer for delays.
- Pick a backup slot and be willing to switch if inventory is tight.
What changes when dates are selling out
- Flexibility beats perfection: a workable slot today is better than the perfect slot that never comes back.
- Backups should include a different circuit/route, not only a different time.

Test the time against the whole travel day
Treat the printed entry time as one fixed point inside a longer journey. Work backwards through the train, bus, luggage, and arrival buffer, then forwards through the selected route and return travel. A theoretically attractive slot is a poor choice when a normal delay would make it unusable.
Separate facts from preferences. The official pages define the ticket and current rules; your itinerary determines whether that product is usable. Write one preferred option and at least one acceptable fallback, but do not include a route or time that you would later regret buying merely because it looked scarce.
Before paying, read the route, date, time, visitor count, names, identity details, price, and current conditions from the final official summary. Save the issued confirmation after payment. An availability alert can shorten repeated checking, but it cannot hold inventory, enter a private queue, or replace the confirmation from the official seller.
