Terms of service

These terms explain the limits of the paid MachuPing monitoring service. MachuPing helps you react faster, but it does not sell, reserve, buy, or guarantee Machu Picchu tickets.

Last updated: June 18, 2026

What MachuPing provides

MachuPing provides paid ticket availability monitoring and email notifications for selected Machu Picchu route/date targets. When matching availability appears or increases, MachuPing tries to notify you so you can attempt to book with the official provider.

A monitoring setup costs $9 for one traveler plus $3 for each additional traveler, up to a maximum of $18, unless a different price is shown at checkout. Payment activates monitoring for the setup you selected.

What MachuPing does not provide

MachuPing does not sell tickets, reserve tickets, hold inventory, purchase tickets for you, join official queues for you, guarantee availability, guarantee entry, or represent the Peruvian government or any official ticket provider.

MachuPing cannot control official provider systems, ticket inventory, route rules, entry times, checkout availability, payment acceptance, identity checks, cancellation behavior, or future changes to Machu Picchu ticket rules.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for choosing the routes, dates, party size, and time slots you would actually accept; keeping your account email reachable; watching for alert emails; acting quickly when availability appears; and completing checkout with the official provider.

Before buying any ticket, you are responsible for verifying the exact route or circuit, date, entry time, traveler names, passport or document details, provider rules, refund terms, substitution rules, and payment readiness.

Availability and delivery limits

Ticket availability can disappear quickly. Provider systems may change, fail, block traffic, show inaccurate information, or move inventory before an alert reaches you. Email delivery can be delayed, blocked, filtered, or affected by your mailbox, device, network, or mail provider.

An alert means MachuPing observed matching availability or a relevant capacity increase. It does not mean the ticket will still be available when you open the official provider, add travelers, or pay.

Refunds and billing errors

No-alert guarantee: if every monitored date passes and MachuPing sent no availability alert for your monitor, you can request a full refund of the monitoring fee through the contact form within 30 days after your last monitored date. An alert for any route covered by your monitor, including alternate routes you enabled, counts as delivery.

If payment is captured but MachuPing does not create the paid monitor for that checkout, contact MachuPing with the email used at checkout. MachuPing will either activate the monitor or refund the monitoring charge.

Once at least one alert has been sent, the monitoring fee is not refundable because an alert arrives after inventory has moved, you miss an alert, your email blocks delivery, official checkout fails, provider rules change, you selected the wrong setup, or you decide not to use the monitor.

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact MachuPing before starting a chargeback so we can investigate the account email, checkout record, and activation status.

Acceptable use

Do not use MachuPing to abuse provider systems, overload the service, interfere with monitoring, reverse engineer private systems, create fraudulent monitors, misuse payment flows, send unlawful content, or violate applicable law or official provider rules.

MachuPing may pause, refuse, or terminate service when needed for security, abuse prevention, operational reliability, provider changes, legal compliance, or suspected misuse.

Service changes

MachuPing may change, pause, or discontinue features, routes, monitoring frequency, supported providers, prices, support processes, or analytics tools when operational, security, provider, legal, or reliability constraints require it.

If a paid monitor is already active, MachuPing will make reasonable efforts to continue monitoring until the selected dates pass, you pause or delete it, or service constraints make monitoring impractical.

Disclaimers and liability limit

MachuPing is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, MachuPing disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, provider compatibility, ticket availability, and successful checkout.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, MachuPing's total liability for claims related to a paid monitoring setup is limited to the amount you paid MachuPing for that setup. MachuPing is not liable for lost tickets, travel costs, hotel costs, transportation costs, missed trips, lost profits, indirect damages, consequential damages, or provider decisions.

Governing law and support path

These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law in your place of residence requires otherwise.

For setup, billing, account, privacy, or support questions, contact MachuPing through the public contact page. Contact requests do not reserve tickets, change official provider rules, or expand the limits of the monitoring service.
